HP Residence

A staged renovation of the interiors of a 1960's residence. The look is modern with contemporary finishes and a retro twist.

Stage one involved a makeover for a teenage daughter’s bedroom and ensuite, followed by the kitchen, family bathroom and the two main living areas. Stage Three included the master bedroom, a second teen bedroom and recently completed ensuite. The clients were happy to be completely guided by design selections suggested by Karen Aston Design and were able to make quick decisions once the brief was developed and options shown via concept boards, samples, 3D rendered sketches and shopping trips. An outdated lemon and navy kitchen and pastel bathrooms were replaced to bring the home up to date, in keeping with the architectural style. Warmth, texture, colour and comfort were introduced to reflect the client’s retro taste.

Stage four is underway, bringing an upgraded laundry inside and customising a second living area with bespoke media joinery.
